Rules and Regulations of the Tournament
Cricket owes much of its appeal and enjoyment to the fact that it should be played not only according to the Laws (which are incorporated within these Playing Conditions), but also within the Spirit of Cricket. The major responsibility for ensuring fair play rests with the captains but extends to all players and match officials. Respect is central to the Spirit of Cricket.
These are rules for T15 over cricket tournament. All the teams have to adhere by the rules and regulations.
▪ A match is played between two sides, each of eleven players, and one girls compulsury playing in each teams, one of whom shall be captain.
▪ There are Fifteen overs only per side.
▪ One bowler is restricted to a maximum of four overs and three bowler is restricted to a maximum of three overs and one bowler is restricted to a maximum of two overs.
▪ Fielding restrictions in the first Four overs - two fielders outside circle.
▪ Fielding restrictions for overs 5-15 - maximum five fielders allowed outside of circle.
▪ Decisions of the Umpires will be full and final. The umpires shall be the sole judges of fair and unfair play.
▪ A 'no-ball' is worth 1 run, and the batsman gets a free hit after a no-ball.
▪ FREE HIT for all types of No Ball will be employed for the tournament.
▪ Each side has just 75 minutes to get through their 15 overs. There is 10 minutes between innings.
▪ The next batsman has 90 second after the fall of a wicket to get to the crease.
▪ Super Over in case match is Drawn/Tied. (Standard rules applicable for the super over)
▪ No player can play for more than one team in the Tournament.
General Rules and Regulations:
• The tournament would be played on League Knockout basis. All matches will be played on Turf wickets, and the format will be fifteen over cricket.
• Each team should nominate a mi maximum of 15 players who would represent their company in the tournament. For matches played in that tournament, the team of 11 must be selected from this list.
• First aid kits will be available to treat any injuries sustained while playing.
• A runner for a batsman when batting is not permitted. The umpires shall have the
discretion to allow, for other wholly acceptable reasons, a substitute fielder to act for a nominated player, at the start of the match, or at any subsequent time.
