Royal Premier League Night Cricket Tournament 2018- organized by Royal Group -Jamjodhpur was played between 1st May’18 to 18th May’18 at Jamjodhpur.
57 teams from various verticals participated in this heavily followed tournament, from which the final was played between Sai XI and Rajan XI on 18th May’18 at Jamjodhpur Yard Ground.
Rajan XI won the toss and elected to field. The decision did not go in their favour as Sai XI managed to post a good score 161 runs in 14 overs by losing 7 wickets. Most of the players scored at a good pace and contributed significantly for the final score. Highest scorers were Hitendrasinh Jadeja and Dipak Gadhavi, who smashed 52 and 28 runs respectively at fast rate. None of the bowlers from Rajan XI succeeded in restricting the run flow of Sai XI.
While replying, it was a disappointing batting display by Rajan XI as none of the players managed to stay strong on field and team started to lose wickets from early overs. Highest run getters were Hiren Prajapati and Kuldeep Raval with 15 runs each. Most of the players were dismissed in single digits and they were bundled out at the score of 73 runs in 13.5 overs. For Sai XI, Jayvir was pick of the lot, who rattled the opposition with 3 wickets in 4 overs. Rajesh Naydu too picked 3 important wickets during crucial overs, which led Sai XI to final win.
With five-star bowling display Sai XI registered a comfortable 88 runs win against Rajan XI in the final of Royal Premier League Night Cricket Tournament 2018.
Hitendrasinh Jadeja from Sai XI was awarded as the player of the match.
