U16 Youth Premier League 2018 was organized between 1st May’18 to 19th May’18 at Panipat.
Out of 8 participant teams, the final of this much cherished tournament was played between Rana Brother Royals and Saify Strikers on 19th May’18 at Siwah Ground- Panipat.
Electing to bat, Rana Brothers Royals played a wonderful innings posted a total of 210 runs at the end of 30 overs by losing 9 wickets. Almost all the players scored well but major contribution came from Captain Porush and Paramjot, who made 54 and 44 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Shubham from Saify Strikers, who scalped 3 wickets in 6 overs.
While chasing, Saify Strikers fired in unison as they reached at the score of 213 runs in just 23 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Despite losing their first wicket in early overs, strong partnership between Shankar (67) and Shadab (43) took team to a very strong position. It was followed by unbeaten 77 by Navjot that led Saify Strikers straight towards victory.
Saify Strikers displayed all-round performance to register a 8 wickets win over Rana Brothers Royals in U16 youth Premier League 2018.
