Bharat Bharwad scored an impressive half-century while Siddharth Desai shone in an all-round display as United CC (UCC) edged out Packer CC (PCC) by five wickets in Ganesh Cup (Minor) Tournament on Monday. Asked to bat, PCC rode on Manoj Math’s 89-ball 71to post a competitive 207 for eight in 40 overs. Samarth Trivedi too chipped in with 56-ball 47. For UCC, Siddharth was the pick of the lot with three wickets. Bharat then slammed 78 from 53 balls while Siddharth joined in with 60-ball 56 as UCC knocked off the runs in 35.3 overs. For the losing side, Prashant Chavda took two wickets.
