Aanjana Cricket Premier League 2018 was organized between 28th Apr.’18 to 15th May’18 at Dhanera.
24 teams from various verticals participated in the tournament. An all-important final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Sotvada Super Kings and Anjana King Eleven Thavar on 15th May’18 at Thavar- Dhanera.
Anjana King Eleven Thavar won the toss and elected to field. The decision did not go in their favour as Sotvada Super Kings played a very good innings and made 147 runs in 12 overs by losing 6 wickets. Dipak V Chaudhary was the highest scorer, who scored 50 runs off 30 balls with 7 boundaries and 2 sixes. He was supported well by Pravin Chaudhary from the other end, who chipped in with 37 runs at fast pace. Pick of the bowlers was Mahendra M Chaudhary from Anjana King Eleven Thavar, who picked 2 wickets in 3 overs.
While chasing, Anjana King Eleven Thavar never got a chance to score well against effective bowling of Sotvada Super Kings. None of the players managed to score in double digits and team collapsed at a meager score of 47 runs in 11.1 overs. Bowling highlights of the innings were Bhurabhai and Dipak V Chaudhary, who took 3 and 2 wickets respectively damaging the batting line up of Anjana King Eleven Thavar completely.
Sotvada Super King registered a glorious 100 runs win against Anjana King Eleven Thavar in the final of Aanjana Cricket Premier League 2018.
