Yuvak Mandal Premier League 2018 - organized by Yuvak Mandal - Jalandhar was played between 6th May’18 to 13th May’18.
12 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament. The crucial final of this tournament was played between KKR (Krish Knight Riders) and OPI Wonders on 13th May’18 at Burlton Park- Jalandhar.
OPI Wonders won the toss and elected to field. Team failed terribly in restricting KKR (Krish Knight Riders) from scoring well. Batting first, KKR (Krish Knight Riders) posted a mammoth score of 204 runs in 12 overs with no loss. Both opening batsmen Puneet Jain and Adeesh Jain played exceptional innings and added 104 and 93 runs respectively.
While chasing, OPI Wonders too played extremely well and gave a very good fight till the last over. Opening batsmen Ayan Jain and Suhel Jain scored 65 and 76 runs respectively at fast rate. Though team tried really we, team fell short of 10 runs from achieving the target. They closed innings at the score of 194 runs in 12 overs by losing 3 overs.
The high scoring final went in favour of KKR (Krish Knight Riders) as they won the match by 10 runs against OPI Wonders.
Punit Jain from KKR (Krish Knight Riders) was awarded as the player of the match.
