CCL Season- 4 2018 was organized between 23rd Mar.’18 to 13th May’18 at Noida.
Out of 6 participant teams, the final was played between Bawali Launde and Cherry Supernova.
Cherry Supernova won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, they started to take wickets from early overs. At one point, Bawali Launde was at 18 runs with the loss of 5 wickets and it match seem to went out of their hands. However, Vikas, who came to bat on 6th position played a very strong innings and made 52 runs off 32 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes helped team reach at a decent score of 112 runs at the end of 15 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Adarsh Panwar from Cherry Supernova bowled really well and scalped 3 wickets in 3 overs. Pankaj Shah too contributed well by picking 2 important wickets in crucial overs hampering batting line up of the opponent badly.
While chasing, Cherry Supernova performed very well as they equalled the score in 15 overs by losing 9 wickets. Top scorer was Nitesh Kumar Srivastava, who made 22 runs in 20 overs. Other main contributor was CC Yatin Mendhiratta with 18 runs off 11 balls. Pick of the bowler was Akash Chauhan from Bawali Launde with 3 wickets.
Bawali Launde declared as winners on the basis of Super Over against Cherry Supernova in the final of CCL Season- 4 2018.
