Seemanchal Premier League (Night) 2018 was played between 22nd Apr.’18 to 10th May’18 at Bahraich.
35 teams from different cities participated in this much cherished tournament. Held at Railway Cricket Ground- Bahraich, the final was played between Teja Eleven- Kaiserganj and Devendra Honda- Balrampur on 10th May’18.
Devendra Honda- Balrampur won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Teja Eleven - Kaiserganj started well with Captain Suresh Mishra smashing 67 runs in 30 balls with 2 boundaries and 9 sixes. Mukul Saxena too played a good innings and added 38 off 23 balls. Team posted a good score of 145 runs at the end of 15 overs by losing 7 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Ali Sher Baba from Devendra Honda- Balrampur, who picked 3 wickets in 3 overs.
While chasing, Devendra Honda- Balrampur came up with strong teamwork with almost all the players scoring well for the final chase. Akbar Khan and Sadik Sultan gave team a good start by scoring 38 and 23 runs respectively at fast pace. Bowlers of Teja Eleven- Kaiserganj failed to restrict the opponent as Devendra Honda- Balrampur reached at the score of 151 runs in 12.2 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
