Ahmedabad CA Cricket League 2018 - organized by Ahmedabad Branch Of WIRC Of ICAI was organized between 27th Apr.’18 to 5th May’18.
Held at Shantam Ground- Ahmedabad, an all-important final of this much cherished tournament was played between The Invincibles and Ahmedabad Lions on 5th May’18.
The Invincibles won the toss and elected to bat. Team did not manage to get a good start and wickets started to fall from early overs. Vikas Shah waged a l one battle with 37 runs off 16 balls with 7 boundaries and 1 six as they managed to post 77 runs in 10 overs by losing 7 wickets. Pick of bowlers was Pratik Joshi from Ahmedabad Lions, who picked 2 wickets in 2 overs.
While replying, Ahmedabad Lions failed to score against effective bowling strategy by The Invincibles. All the players scored in single digits and team collapsed at the score of 66 runs in 10 overs. Vikas Shah from The Invincibles shone again with bowl as he picked 3 wickets in 2 overs.
The Invincibles won the final by 11 runs against Ahmedabad Lions in Ahmedabad CA Cricket League 2018.
