Surat CA Premier League-4 2018 - organized by Surat Branch of WIRC of ICAI was played between 23rd Apr.’18 to 5th May’18.
Out of the 12 participant teams, the final was played between Street Fighters and Game Changers on 5th May’18 at Gandhi Medan - Surat.
Electing to field, Game Changers bowled out Street Fighters at a low score of 62 runs in 12 overs. Street Fighters fumbled to stay strong on crease and most of them failed to go beyond 10 runs. Highest run getter was Anuj Gandhi, who remained unbeaten at 21 runs. Almost all the bowlers from Game Changers did a good job but pick of the bowlers was Deepak Saxena, who led with 3 wickets in 2 overs. Rajkumar Gupta and Jimy Kabrawala too bowled well and picked 2 wickets each hampering the batting line up of Street Fighters badly.
While chasing, opening batsmen Kalpesh Lakhani and Chimpu Lapsiwala gave team a good start by scoring 22 and 16 runs respectively at fast rate. It was followed Harshal Gandhi, whose unbeaten 20 runs off 14 balls steered team towards final win.
Game Changers defeated Street Fighters by 8 wickets in the final of Surat CA Premier League-4 2018.
