BPL Night Season -4 2018 organized between 15th Apr.’18 to 2nd May’18 at Barmer.
50 teams from different verticals participated in this tournament. Held at S S Cricket Ground- Barmer, a crucial final was played between Dhorimala XI and BKT Ke Sultan on 2nd May’18.
Dhorimala XI won the toss and elected to bat. Decision to bat first almost backfired as team lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Dinesh Khileshi, who came to bat on 6th position striked important 23 runs in 8 balls helped team reach at a decent score. Remaining players too scored at a good pace and team closed their innings scoring 91 runs at the end of 7 overs by losing 7 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Ami Mohmad from BKT Ke Sultan, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
BKT Ke Sultan started well while chasing the target of 92 runs with opening batsman Irfan Khan smashing 32 off 25 balls with 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. Dinesh Bishnoi too scored 21 runs in 13 balls and remained not out. Despite trying really well, remaining players did not manage to score at required pace and team fell short of 10 runs. Pick of the bowlers was Nagesh from Dhorimala XI, who picked 2 important wickets in crucial overs.
Dhorimala XI won the final by 10 runs against BKT Ke Sultan in BPL Night Season- 4 2018.
