Harry Cup 2018 was organized between 22nd Apr.’18 to 28th Apr.’18 at Gondal.
15 teams from different cities participated in this much celebrated tournament, from which the crucial final was played between Jay Maa and L K Star on 27th Apr.’18 at Sangramsinhji Ground- Gondal.
L K Star won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Jay Maa got a good start with opening batsman Ashif scoring 43 runs off 30 balls with 4 boundaries and 1 six. However, remaining players did not manage to score well against effective bowling by L K Star. Team started to lose wickets at regular intervals and they closed at the score of 99 runs in 14 overs by losing 7 wickets. Abhijeet Dudhe from L K Star bowled really well and picked 4 wickets in 4 overs restricting Jay Maa at a low score.
L K Star started extremely well while defending with both the opening batsmen Sambhu and Bunty Patel scoring 44 and 26 runs respectively at fast rate. With their stable partnership team chased down the target in 12.2 overs with the loss of 3 wickets.
L K Star won the final by 7 wickets against Jay Maa in Harry Cup 2018.
Sambhu from L K Star was awarded as the player of the match.
