MP Shah Premier League 2018 was organized between 23rd Apr.’18 to 29th Apr.’18 at Jamnagar.
Out of the 17 participant teams, the crucial final was played between PMT Pirates and Team 3 No.
PMT Pirates won the toss and elected to bat. Utsav Patel gave team a good start as he scored 33 runs in 35 balls with 3 boundaries. However, remaining players failed to prove the mettle as most of them scored in single digits. Team collapsed at the score of 99 runs in 17.1 overs. Chief wrecker was Keyur Pandya from Team 3 No., who scalped 4 wickets in 4 overs. Yash Chandan and Viral Shah too bowled well and picked 2 wickets each restricting the opponent from scoring well.
While chasing, Team 3 No. started to fumble from early overs, where none of the players managed go beyond 10’s. Returning with bowl, PMT Pirates displayed some exceptional bowling skills and bowled out their rivals at the score of 64 runs. Yashpal Bhati was the highest scorer with 17 runs. Lokesh Meena and Sagar from PMT Pirates bowled extremely well and took 3 wickets each damaging the batting line up of Team 3 No. badly.
Bowlers from both the sides shone in the match but it was PMT Pirates that managed to eke out a 35 run win over Team 3 No. in MP Shah Premier League 2018.
