Aaryan Cricket Premier League 2018 was organized between 8th Apr.’18 to 16th Apr.’18 at Vadodara.
Out of 8 participant teams, the crucial final was played between Sarpanch Warriors and Shashi Hunters on 16th Apr.’18 at Aaryan Cricket Academy - Vadodara.
Shashi Hunters won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Sarpanch Warriors started well with opening batsman Mahir Shaikh smashing 42 off 22 balls with 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. His brilliant performance helped team close at a good score of 100 runs at the end of 10 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Deepak Kumar from Shashi Hunters, who picked 2 wickets in 2 overs.
While chasing, Shashi Hunters failed to get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. Shahid Shaikh, who came to bat on 3rd position made 25 runs in 15 balls giving much needed stability to the team. However, remaining players failed to maintain the pace and team ended up scoring 83 runs in 10 overs by losing 7 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Kiran Chauhan from Sarpanch Warriors with 2 wickets.
Sarpanch Warriors won the final by 17 runs against Shahi Hunters in Aaryan Cricket Premier League 2018.
