Raghuvanshi Premier League Season- 1 2018 was played between 7th Apr.’18 to 15th Apr.’18 at Anjar- Kachchh.
8 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament from which, the final was played between Anjar Mavericks and Shresth Strikers on 15th Apr.’18 at Anjar Municipal Stadium.
Anjar Mavericks won the toss and elected to bat. Team got a good start with Hardik and Dipesh Thakkar scoring 37 and 12 runs respectively at fast rate. Kushal too played well and added 26 off 21 balls with 3 boundaries and 1 six. However, Umang Thacker and Satyam Pujara from Shresth Strikers bowled extremely well and took 3 and 2 wickets respectively restricting them from putting up a big score. Team posted a reasonable score of 114 runs at the end of 15 overs by losing 8 wickets.
While replying, Shresth Strikers came up with strong batting line up, which helped them reaching at the target in 14.2 overs after losing 5 wickets. Opening batsman Vicky Thacker shown some excellent batting skills and scored 42 off 28 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes gave team a very good start. Other major contributor was Dimpesh Thakkar, who added 39 runs in 26 balls helping team reach at the target easily. Mayur Thacker from Anjar Mavericks was the bowling highlight of the innings as he scalped 3 wickets in 3 overs giving only 13 runs.
Shresth Strikers won the final by 5 wickets against Anjar Mavericks in Raghuvanshi Premier League Season-1 2018.
