Pushkarna Premier League 2018 was organized between 25th Mar.’18 to 15th Apr.’18 at Kolkata.
Out of the 6 participant teams, the final was played between Pushkarna Royals and Pushkarna Invincible Club on 15th Apr.’18 at PNT Ground- Kolkata.
Pushkarna Royals won the toss and elected to bat. Team played a good innings with almost all the players contributing for the final score. Kishan Acharya was the highest scorer, who remained not out by scoring 59 off 28 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Ankit Shashtri too played at very good pace and added 30 runs in 11 balls. Team ended up at a good score of 161 runs at the end of 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers were Sharad Joshi and Shashank Purohit from Pushkarna Invincibles with 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
While chasing, Pushkarna Invincible Club did not get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. However, stable partnership between Sharad Joshi(24) and Avinash (29) provided much needed boost to the score, which followed by an outstanding innings played by Shivam Acharya, who smashed 74 runs off 38 runs helped team reaching to the target in 19.3 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Anup Vyas from Pushkarna Royals with 2 wickets.
