Sprint Knockout Tourney 2018 was played between 2nd Apr.’18 to 10th Apr.’18 at Ahmedabad.
12 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament. Held at Sprint Academy Ahmedabad, the crucial final of this much cherished tournament was played between ARA CC and Sports Club on 10th Apr.’18.
Sports Club won the toss and elected to field. The decision didn’t work out for them as expected and they failed to restrict ARA CC at a low score. ARA CC came up with a strong batting line with almost all the players scoring at very good pace. Highest scorers were Parth Chaudhary and Alsaaz Khan, who made 55 and 34 runs respectively. With most of the players contributing well for the final score, team ended up at a good score of 173 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Tejas Gurjar from Sports Club, who picked 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, Sports Club came out with good show as they registered 4 wickets win over ARA CC in Sprint Knockout Tourney 2018. Nisarg Vyas top scored with 53 runs off 21 balls giving team an excellent start. Jaikishan Parwani and Aditya Patel too played good innings and added 33 and 38 runs respectively at fast rate. Team chased down the target in 18.2 overs with the loss of 6 wickets.
