KNOWARTH Cricket League Season-3 2018 was played between 5th Mar.’18 to 7th Apr.’18 at Ahmedabad.
Out of the 7 participant teams, the final was played between Ultimate-Titans and Scorpion- Kings on 7th Apr.’18 at Hebatpur Ground- Ahmedabad.
Ultimate- Titans won the toss and elected to bat. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, team scored 137 runs in 16 overs by losing 5 wickets. Shani Jangid played a good innings as he made 48 runs off 36 balls and remained not out. Hardik Gundigara too played well and added 36 runs in 14 balls with 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. Pick of the bowlers was Jaymin Patel from Scorpion- Kings with 2 wickets.
While chasing, Scorpion- Kings did not get a good start as wickets started to fall from early overs. None of the players managed to stay strong against the effective bowling by Ultimate- Titans. Hemal Patel (27) and Tirth Timaniya (22) were the only players, who managed to cross 20. Despite trying well, team did not manage to score at required rate and ended up scoring 115 runs in 16 overs by losing 8 wickets. Jaimin Patel and Abhishek Doshi from Ultimate- Titans bowled well and scalped 3 and 2 wickets respectively restring the opponent from achieving the target.
Ultimate- Titans won the final of KNOWARTH Cricket League Season-3 2018 by 22 runs against Scorpio- Kings.
Jaimin Patel from Ultimate- Titans was awarded as player of the match.
