6th All India RCF T20 Rural Cup 2018 organized by ITCF was played between 25th Mar.’18 to 4th Apr.’18 at Balaghat.
4 teams from different states participated in this tournament, where in the final was played between Madhya Pradesh RCF and Haryana RCF on 4th Apr.’18 at Diwan Bahadur Mulana Stadium- Balaghat.
Madhya Pradesh RCF won the toss and elected to bat. Team got a good start with Golu Malviya scoring 42 runs in 38 balls with 5 boundaries and 1 six. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, team managed to put up a decent score of 131 runs in 19.1 overs by losing all the wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Rahul Saini from Haryana RCF, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While replying, Haryana RCF gave a good fight with almost all the players contributing well for the final chase. Faim Khan and Ankit played a good innings and added 21 runs each at a good pace. Captain Jagpal Malik too played well and scored 20 runs off 16 balls with 4 boundaries. Despite trying really well, Haryana RCF fall short of 5 runs and ended up scoring 126 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Sandeep Bhimte from Madhya Pradesh RCF bowled really well and took 2 important wickets in 4 overs by giving 13 runs restricting opponent from reaching at the target.
Madhya Pradesh RCF won the final by 5 runs in 6th All India RCF T20 Rural Cup 2018 against Haryana RCF.
Player of the match was Golu Malviya from Madhya Pradesh RCF.
