Ahmedabad Youth Cricket League Season-4 was played between 18th Feb.’18 to 1st Apr.’18 at Ahmedabad.
24 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament. The crucial final of this tournament was played between Gladiators Medical XI and Nasib XI on 1st Apr.’18 at Jay Shakti Cricket Ground- Ahmedabad.
Gladiators Mechanical XI won the toss and elected to bat. Despite facing some early blows, team scored at a good pace and put up a score of 103 runs at the end of 12 overs by losing 7 wickets. Major contributors were Dharamveer Yadav and Purv Patel, who made 39 and 23 respectively at fast rate. Bowling highlight of the innings was Vishwajitsinh Rathod from Nasib XI, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs by giving only 6 runs.
While chasing, Nasib XI got an excellent start by opening batsman Bharat Bharwad, who smashed 83 in just 37 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes and remained not out. With his outstanding performance, team chased down the target in just 8.2 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
