Nikul Gohel scored a quickfire unbeaten half-century as New Ramnagar CC (NRCC) edged out Sardar Patel CC (SPCC) by six wickets in Ganesh Cup (Minor) Tournament on Saturday. Electing to bat, SPCC rode on Himanshu Sharma’s 89-ball 72 as SPCC posted 241 for seven in 40 overs. Chetan Negda too chipped in with 31-ball 42. For NRCC, Parixit Desai picked three wickets. Nikul then led the chase with an unbeaten 45-ball 69 as his innings helped NRCC knocked off the runs in 38.2 overs. Arpit Rathi (72-ball 68) and Parth Sirashiya (40-ball 38) too chipped in with useful runs for the winners. For the losing side, Mahveer Dabhi picked two of the four wickets to fall.
