The Ultimate Cricket League-2018- organized by The Telangana Cricket Association was played between 18th Feb.’18 to 25th Mar.’18 at Mahabubnagar.
Out of the 12 participant teams, the final was played between Rising Indians and MBC on 25th Mar.’18 at Govt. Boys Junior College Ground- Mahabubnagar.
MBC won the toss and elected to field. They failed to restrict Rising Indians from scoring well and team played a wonderful innings and put up a big score of 203 runs in 20 overs after losing 7 wickets. Almost all the players contributed significantly for the final score. Opening batsmen Shankar and V Naresh scored 73 and 37 runs respectively at fast pace. Sepuri Ranjith Kumar too played very well and smashed 40 runs in 18 balls with 5 boundaries and 2 sixes. Pick of the bowlers was Stinny from MBC with 3 wickets in 2 overs.
While replying, Neelay Kamal gave team a wonderful start as he smashed 117 runs off 52 balls with 17 fours and 6 sixes. He got a very good support from the other end as Salmon Raj too played extremely well and added 54 runs in 27 balls with 4 boundaries and 4 sixes. With these outstanding performances, team reached at the score 205 runs in just 14.4 overs by losing 3 wickets.
MBC won the final of ‘The Ultimate Cricket League-2018’ by 7 wickets against Rising Indians.
