Friends T20 League (Mumbai) 2018 was organized between 13th Mar.’18 to 22nd Mar.’18 at Mumbai.
Out of the 6 participant teams, the final was played between Dhandhar Mumbai and Patan Mumbai on 22nd Mar.’18 at Oval Maidan, Mumbai.
Dhandhar Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat. The decision didn’t go well for the team as they started to lose wickets from early overs. Team collapsed at the score of 83 runs in 15.4 overs. Most of the players failed to score significantly against the strong bowling attack from Patan Mumbai. Highest scorers were Priyaj Suresh Shah and Vishal Shah with 25 and 18 runs respectively. Samir Shah from Patan Mumbai bowled extremely well and took 4 wickets in 3 overs by giving only 8 runs. Rachit Shah too managed to take 3 wickets in 3 overs.
While replying, despite getting a poor start Patan Mumbai played well and achieved the target in just 10.4 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Major contributors were Captain Ambish Shah and Rachit Shah, who scored 22 and 20 runs respectively at a good pace. Pick of the bowlers was Jehil, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
Patan Mumbai won the final by 5 wickets against Dhandhar Mumbai in Friends T20 League (Mumbai) 2018.
Player of the match was Rachit Shah from Patan Shah.
