Satyajit Chudasama & Parth Choudhary's knocks ensured that SPCT (A) successfully chased down the stiff 176-run target set by UCA in the final of the SN Cup Cricket Tournament at LD Arts Cricket ground on Wednesday.
Opening batsmen Ajay Vacheta and Satyajit Chudasama gave SPCT (A) a flying start in their run chase as both of them took the attack to UCA's bowlers. While Chudasama scored 59 runs off 45 balls, Vacheta's 23-ball 38 was also an important knock. Two-down batsman and Man of the Match Parth Choudhary's 47 in 30 balls, proved to be the difference between the two teams in the end, as SPCT (A) won the match losing five wickets and with three balls to spare. Earlier, Anil Patel's 48-ball 73 and Smit Patel's knock of 47 in 42 deliveries, helped UCA put a total of 175 for 6 on the score board in their allotted 20 overs, which at the time looked to be a title-winning score. SPCT (A)'s Dilip Hadiyal, who took 2 for 35, was the most successful bowler for his team. Parth Choudhary was named MoM for his 30-ball 47.
