Ravidra Cricket Club T20 (Village) Tournament 2017-18 was organized by Ravindra Cricket Club- Ankleshwar between 13th Nov.’17 to 18th Mar.’18.
Out of the 14 participant teams, the final was played between Hathuran A and Kosamba A at Ravidra Cricket Ground- Ankleshwar on 18th Mar.’18.
Hathuram A won the toss and elected to bat. Team played a wonderful innings with all the players scoring at good pace. Highest scorers were Javed Bholat and Yusuf Mulla with 37 and 25 runs respectively. Remaining players to contributed well for the final score. Team managed to put up a good score of 166 runs at the end of 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Asif Pathan from Kosamba A, who took 3 important wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, despite losing their first wicket in early overs, Kosamba A played extremely well and chased down the target in 17.2 overs by losing 3 wickets. Strong partnership between Mahya Bawa and Farid, who added 44 and 45 runs respectively helped team reach at strong position. Aman’s unbeaten 34 took team towards the final victory. Pick of the bowlers was Yunus Karodia from Hathuram A with 2 wickets.
Kosamba A won the final of Ravidra Cricket Club T20 (Village) Tournament 2017-18 by 7 wickets against Hathuram A.
Player of the match was Asif Pathan from Kosamba A.
