Late Mathurabai Doke Smruti T20 Chashak Taluka Premier League 2018 was organized between 7th Mar.’18 to 15th Mar.’18 at Solapur.
8 teams from different Talukas participated in this tournament from which, the final was played between South Solapur Taluka and Pandharpur Taluka on 15th Mar.’18 at Pushp Gymkhana- Solapur.
South Solapur Taluka won the toss and elected to bat. Prem Rathod gave team a good start as he scored 40 runs off 43 balls with 6 boundaries. Despite losing some important wickets in middle overs, team closed at a decent score of 126 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Amit Patekar from Pandharpur Taluka, who took 4 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 15 runs.
While chasing, Pandharpur Taluka started to lose wickets from early overs. Most of the players scored in 10’s and 20’s except Amit Patekar, who made 32 runs off 33 balls. Pandharpur Taluka lost all the wickets at the score of 102 runs in 17.5 overs. Anand Chavan from South Solapur Taluka, who took 3 wickets in 2.3 overs.
South Solapur Taluka won the final by 24 runs in Late Mathurabai Doke Smruti T20 Chashak Taluka Premier League 2018.
