4th Edition of Khapur Premier League (Bangladesh) 2018 was organized by Khapur Cricket Association between 6th Feb.’18 to 12th Mar.’18 at Sylhet- Bangladesh.
Out of the 3 participant teams, 2 finalis teams were Royal Strikers and Loyal Knights Cricket.
The final was played at Khapur Cricket Ground- Sylhet on 12th Mar.’18, where in Royal Strikers won the toss and elected to bat. Proving their decision right, team played a very good innings with almost all the players contributing in the final score. Team ended up scoring 128 runs at the end of 15 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Major contributor was Muqtadir Ahmed, who scored 30 runs in 21 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Bowling highlight of the innings was S.A.Rajman with 2 wickets.
While replying, Loyal Knights Cricket faced an early blow in the form of Miraz in first over itself. However, the other opening batsman Naju played extremely well as he smashed 55 runs in 30 balls with 1 boundary and 7 sixes. Masum too played really well and remained unbeaten at 28 runs. With all the players scoring at good pace, Loyal Knight Cricket chased down the target in 11.5 overs after losing 5 wickets. Saju from Royal Strikers bowled very well and took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
