One of the most prestigious tournaments of Goa Cricket Association- Goa Corporate League 2018 flagged off on 3rd Mar.’18 at Porvorim-Goa.
8 teams from various cities of India has participated in this tournament.

1. Reliance One VS RBI :
Reliance One won the toss and elected to bat. Team got a wonderful start with opening batsman Hitesh Dalal scoring 45 runs in 29 balls with 3 boundaries and 3 fours. Captain Saurabh Tiwari too played a wonderful innings as he smashed 50 runs off 34 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. Almost all the players contributed significantly for the final score and team ended up at a good score of 203 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Chirag Parmar from RBI with 2 wickets.
While replying, RBI did not manage to get a good start as wickets started to fall from early overs. None of the players managed to score freely against the strong bowling attack from Reliance One. Highest scorers was Ankit Rajpoot, who scored 33 runs in 13 balls and remained not out. Captain Kumar Deobrat and Amit Mehra too tried well as they scored 24 each at a good pace. However, team failed to score at required rate and ended up scoring 142 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. All the bowlers from Reliance One did a good job but pick of the bowlers was Pawan Negi, who took 2 wickets in 4 overs by giving 19 runs.
Reliance One won the match with a big margin of 61 runs against RBI.

2. Indian Oil VS Air India:
Indian Oil won the toss and elected to bat. The decision did not go well for them as team started to fumble from early overs. Almost all the players scored in single digit and team collapsed making 57 runs in 13.4 overs. Highest scorer was Rohan Raje with 12 runs. Mohit Jangra and Rohan Ratai from Air India bowled exceptionally well and took 4 and 3 wickets respectively damaging the batting line up of India Oil completely.
Since the score was not difficult to defend, Air India Managed to reach to the target in 8.4 overs by losing 3 wickets. Major contributors were Rajat Bhatia and Ankit Dabas with 17 and 16 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Avesh Khan from Indian Oil with 2 wickets.
Air India won the match by 7 wickets against Indian Oil.
