CTPMA Cup 2018 was organized between 26th Jan.’18 to 4th Mar.’18 at Chennai.
Out of the 10 participant teams, the crucial final was played between Mr. Strong and Prestige XI on 4th Mar.’18 at MVR Advait Ground- Chennai.
Mr. Strong won the toss and elected to bat. Team failed to put up a big score for the final as they started to lose wickets from early overs. None of the players managed score significantly against the strong bowling attack from Prestige XI. Highest scorer with Kunal Maheshwari with 13 runs. Team bundled up scoring 80 runs in 19 overs. All the bowlers of Prestige XI bowled really well but pick of the bowlers was P. Hari Krishnan, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 13 runs.
While chasing, Prestige XI shown a good team work with all the players contributing well for the final win. Since the score was not very difficult to defend, team managed to reach at the target in 15.1 overs after losing 3 wickets. Highest scorer was Bhavesh with 22 runs.
Prestige XI won the final of CTPMA Cup 2018 by 7 wickets against Mr. Strong.
