Sattargam Premier League 2018 was organized between 2nd Mar.’18 to 4th Mar.’18 at Mumbai.
6 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament, from which the final was played between Karan Exports and Kuvala Knights on 4th Mar.’18 at Thakur Shyam Narayan Stadium- Mumbai.
Karan Exports won the toss and elected to bat. Team got a good start with Karan smashing 37 runs off 28 balls with 3 boundaries. Sameer Doshi and Montu Sheth too played well and added 33 and 20 runs at fast pace. Team ended up at a good score of 104 runs in 10 overs by losing 3 wickets.
While replying, Kuvala Knights too played well and gave a good fight till the last over. Opening batsman, Captain Maulik Ratadiya was in very good form as he scored 47 runs in 28 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Yash Loladiya too contributed well and made 39 off 26 balls. Despite trying really well, team lost some important wickets in middle overs, which reduced their pace. Kuvala Knights fell short of 6 runs for achieving the target. Team scored 98 runs at the end of 10 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Karan from Karan Exports was the pick of the bowlers, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
