Dhruv Trivedi’s all-around performance secured a convincing victory for Nava Vadaj Gymkhana (NVG) against Century CC (CCC) at Motera Academy. Winning the toss CCC sent NVG to bat, which turned out to be a grave mistake. NVG posted 247 runs in 47.5 overs with Dhruv scoring 77 of 78 balls. He was well supported by Milind Dave and Sanket Prajapati who scored 49 and an unbeaten 39 respectively. Rajan Saini from CCC picked up two wickets for 35 runs. CCC batsmen buckled under pressure and folded in 28.3 overs scoring only 126 runs. Jayprakash Mehta was the sole top scorer with a run-a-ball 27 as Dhruv Trivedi returned with the ball and picked up 3 for 20. Dhruv was declared man of the match for his alround performance.
