BEC Premier League 2018 was organized between 15th Feb.’18 to 2nd Mar.’18 at Bapatla.
Out of the 7 participant teams, the all-important final was played between Civil Challengers and EEE Thunders on 2nd Mar.’18 at Baptla Ground.
Civil Challengers won the toss and elected to bat. Team did not manage to put up a big score for the final as wickets started to fall from early overs. None of the players scored beyond 10’s and team ended up scoring 44 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Highest scorer was Sai Vinay with 10 runs. All the bowlers of EEE Thunders did a good but pick of the bowlers was Karthik Reddy, who took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
While replying, EEE Thunders too lost some important wickets in early overs. As target was not very difficult to achieve, team reached at the score of 48 runs in 9.3 overs by losing 5 overs. Mr. Cool was the highest scores with unbeaten 19 runs in 19 balls. Bowling highlight of the innings was Saikrishna Bathula from Civil Challengers with 2 overs.
