Darshanam T20 Cricket League 2 2018 was played between 10th Feb.’18 to 28th Feb.’18 at Vadodara.
16 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament. The crucial final of this much cherished tournament was held at Darshanam Stadium- Vadodara between Sharnam Royals and Rudra Lions on 28th Feb.’18.
Rudra Lions won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Sharanam Royals started well with opening batsman Jaykishan Kolsawala smashing 51 runs off 36 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, team closed at a reasonable score of 159 runs in 19.2 overs after losing all the wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Vishal Solanki from Rudra Lions, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, Rudra Lions gave a good fight with almost all the players contributing for the score. However, team failed to score at required rate and ended up scoring 124 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Highest scorers were Keval Yadav and Mansoori Mohammad Tabib with 29 and 22 runs respectively. Bowling highlight of the innings was Dhruv Patel from Sharanam Royals, who scalped 3 wickets in 4 overs by giving 18 runs.
