2nd Haridwar Super League T20 was organized between 11th Feb.’18 to 28th Feb.’18 at Haridwar.
Held at Bhalla Cricket Ground- Haridwar, the crucial final of this tournament was played between Haridwar Knights and Uttarakhand Vijeta Warriors on 28th Feb.’18.
Uttarakhand Vijeta Warriors won the toss and elected to field. Team failed in restricting Haridwar Knights at low score for the final. Team got an excellent start with both the opening batsmen Kunal Chandela and Hitesh smashing 81 and 64 runs respectively at fast rate. Sultan Ansari too played a good innings and added 37 runs in 24 balls. With these wonderful performances, Haridwar Knights closed their innings at 214 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Gaurav Tomar from Uttarakhand Vijeta Warriors, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While replying, opening batsman Karanveer Kaushal gave Uttarakhand Vijeta Warriors a good start by scoring 63 runs in 33 balls with 3 boundaries and 6 sixes. Gaurav Tomar shown some wonderful batting skills and smashed 46 runs off 17 balls. Despite trying really well, team lost some important wickets during middle overs, which restricted their pace. Sultan Ansari from Haridwar Knights bowled really well and took 3 wickets in 4 overs damaging the batting line up of opponent badly. Team collapsed at the score of 186 runs in 19 overs.
Haridwar Knights won the final by 28 runs in 2nd Haridwar Super League T20.
