GSPL Cricket Tournament 2018 was organized between 23rd Feb.’18 to 28th Feb.’18 at Solapur.
Out of the 17 participant teams, the final was played between Kanna C.C and Pune C.C on 28th Feb.’18 at Park Stadium- Solapur.
Pune C.C won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Kanna C.C played a good innings and made 84 runs in 8 overs by losing 5 wickets. Major contributors were Captain Anil Dahihande and Vishal Jumale, who scored 23 and 20 runs respectively at fast pace. Pick of the bowlers was Santosh Bidkar from Pune C.C with 2 wickets.
While replying, Pune C.C got a good start with Shubham Chavandke scoring 33 runs in 23 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. However, remaining players did not manage to score at required pace and team ended up scoring 76 runs at the end of 8 overs after losing 6 wickets. Bunty Hucche from Kanna C.C bowled well and took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
Kanna C.C won the final of GSPL Cricket Tournament 2018 by 8 runs.
