MCA Manasa Cricket League 2018 was organized between 9th Feb.’18 to 25th Feb.’18 at Manasa.
10 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament, where in the 2 finalist teams were - Siddhi Vinayak Club Kukdeshwar and Jai Ambe Cricket Club Jaliner. The crucial final was held at Higher Secondary school Ground- Mansa on 25th Feb.’18.
Siddhi Vinayak Club Kukdeshwar won the toss and elected to bat. Team played extremely well as all the players scored at a very good pace. Highest contributors were Sajid Mansuri and Shoain Mansuri, who scored 29 and 25 runs at fast rate. Team put up a good score of 133 runs in 10 overs by losing 5 wickets.
While replying, Jai Ambe Cricket Club Jaliner lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Aditya Tinu Toshniwal played a good innings and made 46 runs off 23 balls with 4 boundaries and 4 sixes giving much needed boost to the score. Raju Bhati too tried well from the other end and scored 24 runs in 13 balls. But wickets kept falling at regular intervals restricting the run-flow and team ended up scoring 108 runs at the end of 10 overs with the loss of 7 wickets.
Siddhi Vinayak Club Kukdeshwar won the final by 25 runs against Jai Ambe Cricket Club Jaliner.
Player of the match was Shoaib Mansuri from Siddhi Vinayak Club Kukdeshwar.
