6th CREDAI Surat Premier League 2018 was organized by Surat Developers Association between 20th Feb.’18 to 24th Feb.’18 at Surat.
Out of the 8 participant teams, the final was played between Riddhi 11 and Roscoe on 24th Feb.’17 at Day Villa- Surat.
Roscoe won the toss and elected to field. The decision did not go in their favour as Riddhi 11 played a good innings and scored 118 runs in 16 overs after losing 6 wickets. Opening batsman Divyang Kanani gave team a good start by scoring 62 runs off 39 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Mikesh Kanani gave good support from the other end as he made 34 runs in 13 balls. Pick of the bowlers was Prak Patel from Roscoe, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
While chasing, Roscoe started to fumble from early overs against the strong bowling attack from Riddhi 11. Most of the players scored in single digits and team bundled up scoring 72 runs in 11.5 overs. Highest scorers were Dharmendrasinh Thakor and Krunal Patel with 22 and 14 runs respectively. Divyang Kanani from Riddhi 11 shined again as he took 3 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 11 runs.
Riddhi 11 won the final of 6th CREDAI Surat Premier League 2018 by 46 runs against Roscoe.
Player of the match was Divyang Kanai from Riddhi 11.
