Fort Premier League Season-4 was organized between 29th Jan.’18 to 21st Feb.’18 at Chennai.
Out of the 7 participant teams, the final of this tournament was played between Sachin 11 Star and Dynamites -XI on 21st Feb.’18 at Chennai Fort Ground.
Dynamites-XI won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, team succeed in restricting Sachin 11 Star at a low score of 88 runs in 12 overs by losing 7 wickets. Highest contributors were Palani and Anil with 41 and 22 runs. Rest of the players did not manage to go beyond 10’s. Bowling highlight of the innings was Sagar from Dynamites-XI, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
While chasing, Dynamites-XI too did not get a good start and started to lose wickets from early overs. However, Karthik and Sagar played a wonderful innings and scored 42 and 29 runs at good pace and gave major contribution in final chase. Despite trying really well, Dynamites-XI reached at a score of 88 runs at the end of 12 overs after losing 6 wickets.
It was an exciting final till the end, where in Sachin 11 Star declared as winners of Fort Premier League- Season 4 on the basis of Super Over results.
