Aanjana Premier League 2018 was played between 11th Feb.’18 to 13th Feb.’18 at Surat.
10 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament. Held at RMG Maheshwari English School Ground- Surat, the final was played between Shri Abugod Sports Club and King Fighter Tejapra on 13th Feb.’18.
Shri Abugod Sports Club won the toss and elected to bat. Team failed to get a good start and lost wickets in early overs of the innings. King Fighter Tejapra’s bowling attack was quite strong and players of Shri Abugod Sports Club struggled to stay on crease for long. Outstanding bowling from Mukesh P Chaudhary from King Fighter Tejapra wrecked their batting line up completely as took 5 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 15 runs. Highest scorer was Savaram Chaudhary, who scored 25 runs in 15 balls. None of the other players scored beyond 10’s and team collapsed at the score of 78 runs in 11 overs.
While replying, King Fighter Tejapra started well with Dineshkumar Chaudhary and Raymal scoring 23 and 29 runs respectively at fast pace. Since the target was not very difficult to defend, team managed to reach at the score of 79 runs in just 7.5 overs by losing 4 wickets. Dineshkumar Chaudhary from Shri Abugod Sports Club was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets.
King Fighter Tejapra won the final by 6 wickets in Aanjana Premier League 2018 against Shri Abugod Sports Club.
