SVCE Cricket League 2018 was organized between 22nd Jan.’18 to 12th Feb.’18 at Tirupati.
25 teams from SV College participated in this tournament. The final of this much celebrated tournament is played between 4ECE and 3 EEE on 12th Feb.’18 at SV College -Tirupati.
4 ECE won the toss and elected to bat. Team had a poor start as they lost some important wickets from early overs. With Bala Sai and Achuth Ram scoring 31 and 30 runs respectively, team managed to end up at a decent score of 125 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 overs. Bowling highlight of the innings was B. Veera Shivaji from 3 EEE, who took 2 wickets in 4 overs giving 15 runs.
While chasing, 3 EEE did not manage to score well against effective fielding and bowling by 4 ECE. Players were not able to score at required pace and none of the players managed to score beyond 20’s. Highest scorers were S.Dayasagar and K. Hari Krishna with 20 and 17 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Karthik from 4 ECE with 2 wickets. Team ended up scoring 103 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 7 wickets.
4 ECE won the final of SVCE Cricket League 2018 by 22 runs against 3 EEE.
