MCS Unity Cup was organized between 6th Feb.’18 to 11th Feb.’18 at Mysore, where in 14 teams from various verticals participated in this much loved tournament.
Held at Railway Ground Mysore, the final of MCS Unity Cup was played between Classic C C and Jafferiyans on 11th Feb.’18.
Classic C C won the toss and elected to bat. Team played a very good innings and made 110 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Team did not start well and lost some important wickets in first few overs. However, Syed Parveez’s unbeaten 51 in 25 balls helped team reach at a good score. Pick of the bowlers was Mirza Younus Ali from Jafferiyans with 2 wickets.
While chasing, Jafferiyans gave a very good fight till the end. Despite facing some early blows, partnership between Syed Salman (46) and Wasim Abbas (19) gave much needed boost to the score. Despite trying really well, team failed to maintain the pace and ended up scoring 100 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
Classic C C won the final by 10 runs against Jafferiyans in MCS Unity Cup.
