Telangana All Stars Cricket Tournament was organized by The Telangana Cricket Association between 30th Jan.’18 to 6th Feb.’18 at Telangana.
Out of the 8 participant teams, the final was played between TKR Titans and Medak Master on 6th Feb.’18 at L.B. Stadium - Hyderabad.
Medak Master won the toss and elected to field. Decision didn’t go well for them as TKR Titans played an excellent innings and scored 186 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Team had a very strong batting line up with almost all the players scoring significantly at fast pace. Highest scorers were Jayram Reddy and Syed Chand Pasha with 40 and 43 runs respectively. Bowling highlight of the innings was Surya from Medak Master, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While replying, Medak Master failed to get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. Only few players managed to score beyond 20’s against the effective bowling by TKR Titans. Md Majid and Srinivas Reddy were the highest contributors, who scored unbeaten 30 and 20 runs respectively. Despite trying well, team ended up scoring 122 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Viswanath from TKR Titans was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets.
TKR Titan won the final of Telangana All Stars Cricket Tournament by 64 runs against Medak Master.
Player of the match was Syed Chand Pasha from TKR Titans.
