One of the most cherished tournaments of Ahmedabad- Infostretch Cricket League (ICL-7) was organized between 20th Jan.’18 to 4th Feb.’18.
Out of the 16 participant teams, the final of this tournament was played between Cignex Datamatics and Apttus on 4th Feb.’18 at SGVP Cricket Ground- Ahmedabad.
Cignex Datamatics won the toss and elected to bat. Decision did not go well for the team as they started to lose wickets from early overs. No one except Hiren Patel (34) managed to cross 30’s and team ended up scoring 88 runs in 16 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Bowlers of Apttus did a good job but the bowling highlight of the innings was Umang Thakkar, who took 3 wickets in 3 overs by giving 11 runs.
While chasing, with the strong batting line up, Apttus chased down the target in 11.4 overs by losing 2 wickets. All the players scored at a good pace but the highest scorers were Lokesh Kumar and Viraj Shah with 29 and 22 runs respectively.
Apttus won the final by 8 wickets against Cignex Datamatics in Infostretch Cricket League (ICL-7).
