Shaakdwipiya Premier League SPL 2018 was organized between 25th Jan.’18 to 4th Feb.’18 at Bikaner.
Out of the 6 participant teams, the final was played between Shakdwipiya Lions and Shakdwipiya Bulls on 4th Feb.’18 at Sadul Club Ground- Bikaner.
Shakdwipiya Lions won the toss and elected to bat. Proving their decision right, team played a wonderful innings and closed at a good score of 163 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. Team started well with both the opening batsmen Chandra Prakash and Virendra Sharma scoring 38 and 47 runs respectively at fast rate. Almost all the players contributed well for the final score of 163 runs. Pick of the bowlers was Kamal Sharma from Shakdwipiya Bulls, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
While chasing, Shakdwipiya Bulls too came up with a strong batting line up and gave a good fight. Highest scorers were Manoj Sharma and Pawan Sharma with 47 and 38 runs. Despite trying well, team failed to score at required pace and ended up scoring 150 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing 5 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Virendra Sharma from Shakdwipiya Lions, who took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
Shakdwipiya Lions won the final by 13 runs against Shakdwipiya Bulls in the final of Shaakdwipya Premier League SPL 2018.
