Yadav Ahir Chashak 2018 was organized between 28th Jan.’18 to 3rd Feb.’18 at Nanded.
23 teams from various verticals participated in this much cherished tournament. The crucial final of this tournament was played between Dwarkadhish Aurangabad and Jay Matadi Nanden on 3rd Feb.’18 at Kautha-Nanded.
Jay Matadi Nanded won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Dwarkadhish Aurangabad played a good innings and scored 108 runs in 12 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Opening batsman Virendra Meghawale gave team a good start as he scored 38 runs in 25 balls with 2 fours 3 sixes. Almost all the players scored at fast pace. Adarsh Bagwale and Punam Chaudhary too played a good innings and added 25 and 19 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Shubham Mandle from Jay Matadi Nanded, who took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, despite starting well Jay Matadi Nanded failed to maintain the pace and lost wickets at regular intervals. Highest scorers were Ashish Batawale and Abhimanyu Mandle with 32 and 17 runs respectively. However, after dismissal of Harish Bhagat (15), remaining players amanged to go beyong single digit scores. Team collapsed making 86 runs in 10.3 overs. Though all the bowlers did a good job, bowling highlight of the innings was Suraj with 2 wickets.
Dwarkadhish Aurangabad won the final by 68 runs against Jay Matadi Nanded in Yadav Ahir Chashak 2018.
