One of the most celebrated tournament - Rajpurohit Cricket League Season-3 2018 was organized by Rajpurohit Yuva Club (Surat) between 24th Jan.’18 to 28th Jan.’18 at Surat.
16 teams from various verticals participated in this much loved tournament. Held at DRB Sports Complex-Surat on 28th Jan.’18, the crucial final was played between Ashapuri Avengers and Purohit Thali 11-S3.
Ashapuri Avengers won the toss and elected to bat. Team played a wonderful innings and made 169 runs in 20 overs after losing 5 wickets. Opening batsman KP was on fire as he smashed 83 runs in 56 balls with 9 boundaries and 1 six. Almost all the players scored at very good pace.
While replaying, Purohit Thali 11- S3 did not get a good start and wickets started to fall from early overs. Despite trying well, none of the players managed to stay for long on crease and bundled up scoring 93 runs in 13.3 overs. Highest scorers were Magan and Pawan Singh with 24 and 19 runs. Sajansingh Asotra from Ashapuri Avengers bowled exceptionally well as he took 4 wickets in 3.3 overs.
Ashapuri Avengers won the final by 76 runs against Purohit Thali 11- S3 in Rajpurohit Cricket League Season-3 2018.
