CLAP - Cricket League Of A.P. was organized between 20th Jan.’18 to 27th Jan.’18 at Raipur.
Out of the 5 participant teams, the final of this much loved tournament was played between MechRocks and Civil Cse on 27th Jan.’18 at Sanskrit Cricket Ground- Raipur.
MechRockz won the toss and elected to bat. Despite starting well, no one except Venky (27) managed to reach to double digit score. Team scored 70 runs in 15 overs by losing 8 wickets. All the bowlers of Civil Cse did an excellent job but the bowling highlight of the innings was Thalapelli Ramcharan, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 12 runs.
While chasing, Civil Cse did not get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. Since the target was not very difficult to achieve, team managed to reach to the score of 71 runs in 13.4 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Highest scorers were KIshore Taggi and Rahul with 20 and 17 runs respectively.
Civil Cse won the final by 6 wickets in CLAP- Cricket League Of A.P.
Thallapelli Ramacharan from Civil Cse was awarded as the player of the match.
