One of the most celebrated tournaments of Ahmedabad- Super Dads Premier League Season 1 ended with KOOH Kings winning the title with a wide margin of 86 runs against KOOH Lancers.
This tournament was organized by KOOH Sports and was played between 8th Jan.’18 to 25th Jan.’18 at Sprint Recreation- Ahmedabad.
An interesting final of this much loved tournament was played on 25th Jan.’18 between KOOH Kings and KOOH Lancers, where in KOOH Lancers won the toss and elected to field. Team failed to restrict the opponent from scoring well as KOOH Kings played a wonderful innings and made 82 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Opening batsman Parth Chaudhary smashed 43 runs in 32 balls with 6 boundaries. Urvish Thummar too contributed well with 23 runs in 15 balls.
While replying, despite trying well KOOH Lancers did not manage to score at a good pace and ended up scoring 56 runs at the end of 10 overs. Captain Inderpal Singh was the highest contributor, who made 20 runs in 21 balls.
KOOH Kings started their 2nd innings with the lead of 26 runs. Parth Chaudhary shined again with unbeaten 55 runs off 36 balls with 6 boundaries and 1 six. Bowlers of KOOH Lancers did a good job and took some important wickets in crucial overs. Pick of the bowlers was Taral Desai, who took 2 wickets in 2 overs by giving only 4 runs. With the outstanding performance by Parth Chaudhary, team made 95 runs at the end of their 2nd innings with the loss of 7 wickets.
KOOH Lancers started their 2nd innings with the trail of 121 runs. Team failed to perform under pressure and started to lose wickets from early overs. None of the players managed to go beyond 10’s and collapsed at the score of 35 runs. Chief wrecker was Nirav Patel from KOOH Kings, who took 2 wickets in 2 overs by giving only 3 runs.
