One of the most prestigious tournaments- 63 National Cricket Tournament (U-14) started on 23rd Jan.’18 at Nashik.
26 teams from various states are participating in this tournament.
On the first day, 8 matches were played at various grounds of Nashik.
1. State Rajasthan U14 VS State Andhra Pradesh U14
The match was played at Mahatmanagar Cricket Ground, where in State Andhra Pradesh U14 won the toss and elected to field. Team failed to restrict the opponent at a low score and State Rajasthan U14 scored 125 runs in 19.2 overs by losing 10 wickets. While chasing, none of the players managed to score significantly and team collapsed making 63 runs in 15.3 overs after losing all the wickets.
With all round performance, State Rajasthan U14 won the match by 62 runs against State Andhra Pradesh U14.

2. State Gujarat U14 VS State Delhi U14
The match was played at Sayyad Pimpri Ground, where in State Delhi U14 won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, team succeeded in restricting their opponent at the score of 91 runs at the end of 19.1 overs. None of the players from State Gujarat U14 managed to perform well against the strong bowling attack fro State Delhi U14. While replying, State Delhi U14 came up with wonderful batting performance and chased down the target in just 10.5 overs with the loss of 1 wicket.
State Delhi U14 won the match by 9 wickets against State Gujarat U14.

3. State Telangana U14 VS State Maharashtra U14
The match was played at Golf Ground, in which State Maharashtra won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, State Telangana U14 played a very good innings and put up a good score of 153 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. While chasing, despite losing wickets at regular intervals, State Maharashtra U14 managed to achieve the target in 19.2 overs after losing 5 wickets. It was a thrilling match where both the teams performed extremely well till the last over.
State Maharashtra U14 won the match by 5 wickets against State Telangana U14.

4. State Puducherry U14 VS State Uttar Pradesh U14
The match was held at Suyojit Ground, in which State Puducherry U14 won the toss and elected to bat. Team failed terribly and folded at just 17 runs in 8.4 overs. It was an extremely easy target for State Uttar Pradesh U14, which they achieved in 2.2 overs without any loss.
State Uttar Pradesh U14 won the match by 10 wickets against State Puducherry U14.

5. State I.B.S.O. U14 VS State N.V.S. U14
The match was held at Suyojit Ground, where in State I.B.S.O. won the toss and elected to bat. Team failed to put up a good score and crumbled at the score of 39 runs in 14 overs. Since the target was not very difficult to achieve, State N.V.S. U14 reached to the score of 40 runs in just 4 overs with no loss.
State N.V.S. U14 won the match by 10 wickets against State I.B.S.O. U14.

6. State West Bengal U14 VS State Goa U14
The match was played at Mahatma Nagar Cricket Ground, in which State West Bengal U14 won the toss and elected to bat. Team played an excellent innings with all the players contributing significantly. Team ended at a good score of 158 runs by losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Despite trying well, State Goa U14 went on losing the wickets at regular intervals, which restricted them from scoring at required pace. Team was at the score of 100 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing 9 wickets.
State West Bengal U14 won the match with a big margin of 54 runs against State Goa U14.

7. State Daman Diu U14 VS State Haryana U14
The match was held at Sayyad Pimpri Ground, where in State Daman Diu U14 won the toss and elected to bat. Apart from a few players, none of them managed to score well against effective bowling of State Haryana U14. State Daman Diu U14 was restricted at the score of 48 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. While replying, State Haryana U14 performed well and achieved the target in just 4.1 overs with no loss.
State Haryana U14 won the match against State Daman Diu U14 by 10 wickets.
Player of the match was Dipender Kush from State Haryana U14.
8. State Assam U14 VS State Bihar U14
The match was played at Golf Ground, in which State Assam U14 won the toss and elected to bat. Team had a strong batting line up and they managed to put up a good score of 127 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 5 wickets. While chasing, State Bihar U14 too performed really well and chased down the target in 18.4 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Audience at Gold Ground witnessed some wonderful performances as both the teams scored at a good pace.
State Bihar U14 won the match by 6 wickets against State Assam U14.
