Puvvada Premier League 2018 organized by Cricway Club was played between 10th Jan.’18 to 18th Jan.’18 at Khammam.
12 teams of various verticals participated in this tournament. The final of this tournament was held at Sardar Patel Stadium-Khammam on 17th Jan.’18 between Choice Sportss and VVC Motors.
Choice Sportss won the toss and elected to bat. Team played a wonderful innings with almost all the players scoring at a good pace. Opening batsman Yaseen smashed 66 runs in 46 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes. Team ended up scoring 154 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Ag Praveen from VVC Motors, who took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
While replying, VVC Motors failed to get a good start as team started to lose wickets from early overs. However, Srikar and Rajkumar played really well and added 40 and 24 runs respectively but remaining players did not manage to maintain the pace. Despite putting up a good effort, team ended up scoring 125 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing 8 wickets. Yaseen from Choice Sportss shined again as he took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
Choice Sportss won the final of Puvvada Premier League 2018 by 29 runs against VVC Motors.
